Space Girl bath bomb and Pop In The Bath bubble bar!
The bath bomb was very pretty in my hand; but I have to admit I was pretty disappointed with it’s performance in the water. There wasn’t very much glitter, and the colors were kind of boring, but it smelled heavenly. The scent was very fruity, and there were supposed to be “real popping candies” but I couldn’t tell. I had the opportunity to try this with a friend in Arizona on the same night, and her opinion was much like mine.
Do you see how beautiful Space Girl is in my hand? It definitely had potential. It is shaped like Saturn, so I was expecting it to be out of this world.
The Pop In The Bath bubble bar, however, produced a thick blanket of bubbles with a scent that lasted for at least a full day after use. I recommend that one completely!
I kind of think this one was a dud; it stuck to the bottom of the bath and didn’t fizz much at all. The bath water turned purple, but only after I swished it around with my hand. Apparently, my experience isn’t typical which is why I think it was a dud. “The purple cloud” as I remember it, sunk to the bottom of the water and stayed there throughout the entire bath. The scent was fruity and very berry, which was expected. I’m going to retry this one later on.
The inside did contain a piece of paper that said, “Boom boom,” which I thought was cute.
I’m pretty disappointed in myself for not picking up Sex Bomb sooner. I used this one, solo, on Valentine’s eve. It turned the water a gorgeous hot pink color and the scent was to die for. I was incredibly impressed, and this is going on my Top 5 for sure. This is what it’s description says: “…our world famous sphere of sex appeal contains all of Nature’s most potent and seductive ingredients to get you in the mood for a good… bath. ” Mmmmhmmm, say no more!
I don’t know about you, but the color “blue” automatically makes me think of something that’s fresh, clean, and relaxing. Blue is a calming color. Which, of course, is exactly how I felt in the bath with Big Blue. The description of this as Lush has it listed: “Just lay back and sail away to shores of uncluttered thoughts, softer skin and warm, blue seas.” Blue seas, indeed. Big Blue did not disappoint.
As much as I love avocados, I’m truly surprised I didn’t pick this baby up sooner. It smelled very citrus-y, and it turned the bath water the perfect St. Patrick’s Day green. My favorite part of experiencing Avobath was actually how I felt after getting out of the tub. Out of all the bath bombs I’ve tried, my skin has never felt softer than after Avobath. 10/10, do recommend.
