When Too Faced released their delicious Sweet Peach palette the first time, I drooled over it–unfortunately, it was sold out before I could get one for myself. In December, I got word of a re-release later that month and I couldn’t have been more excited. The colors were perfect, and it was rumored to smell just like peaches!

At first I wasn’t sure if the rumored peach scent was legit. Was it a myth? A legend? A tall tale told by peach enthusiasts? The truth will come out.

You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches. — Dita Von Teese

Still, I dragged my feet as I was preoccupied with my new goal of minimalism.  However, on Valentine’s Day, I got it as a gift! Not all heroes wear capes, my friends.

The Sweet Peach palette is the most sturdy palette I’ve ever owned. The packaging is metal with a magnetic closure. The color of the packaging goes from a light pink to peach gradient, with the logo as well as peaches embossed on the lid.

The inside includes a high-quality mirror and the scent of peaches will draw you in. It’s not overpowering, but you can smell it for a little while on your face and the best way to describe the scent is peach candy.

There are 18 shades in the Sweet Peach palette and their names sit right above the color. I’m picking up on a southern vibe with their choice of names. I’m from Texas, and I’m not the typical southern girl but I love it!

As you can see, a couple of the matte shades are a bit chalky upon swatching. That’s the case for a lot of mattes so I’m not phased by it at all.

The Finishing Touches

The possibilities are endless with the Sweet Peach palette. The packaging, the colors and the smell are just the icing on the cake. It’s definitely my favorite palette yet, and I can see exactly why it’s in such high demand.

This beauty can be found at Sephora or Ulta for $49. If peach shades aren’t normally your thing, I highly suggest you mosey on over there to see it in person.
